Kitchen Organisation And Storage Ideas

After crafting cooking is my second favorite thing. And like a well organised person I try to keep order in the kitchen in the highest level. But the endless utensils, pots and pans easily fill up every nook and cranny, especially in a not so big kitchen. Most of us haven't enough space to store all those modern appliances, kitchen tools, sauces, spices and food. That`s why the good organisation is so important for clean and shiny kitchen.

It’s time to get creative and to find answer to this problem. There are so many cheap and easy to make DIY projects that can help you keep your kitchen always clean and with the maximum order. Check out some clever ideas on how to use your kitchen space effectively.

We all have drawers and cabinets in our kitchens but do we really know how to organise things in them. Finding the best solution for any kind of drawers is the key to keep your kitchen looking well organised and clean. Usually the most practical cabinets are the ones that have pull out drawers and shelves. They provide much more easier access to things inside. You can use them as a mini pantry where to store bottles, fruits and vegetables in a cool, dry and dark place.

Another great idea for small kitchens are vertical pull out spice racks. If you have narrow cabinets this is the best option for you.

Store your everyday pots in a handy drawer. You can make two sections: a deep one for the big pots and shallow for lids and trivets.

Make the most of your utensil drawer by using dividers to organise cutlery, measuring spoons and even your favourite spices.

Clever and effective way to save space in your kitchen is to install a pull out cutting board. It has a hole which make it easy to brush the scraps straight into the trash bin and to avoid stains on your carpet. Pull out cutting boards will save you money from carpet cleaning.

There are a lot of cool storage solutions based on kitchen rails too. No matter if you gonna store cups, cooking boards or spices they are great way to use the available space on the wall.

The area under the sink is the perfect place to keep your cleaning supplies invisible and handy at the same time. If your sponges, gloves and scrub brushes are at one place and well organised, domestic cleaning will be much easier.

As you can see when it comes to kitchen storage there are a lot of options to organise it. Just make the most of your kitchen space.
